Making your donation online is fast, easy and secure

 

Making your donation online, using a credit/debit card or e-check, is convenient and safe. Click on the “DONATE” button at the bottom of the page to make a one-time contribution or to set up a recurring gift. Manito UMC partners with a well-known and trusted company, Vanco Payment Solutions, who process contributions through their secure website and the church never needs access to your credit card information.

Once you click on the “DONATE” button, you will be taken to the Online Donation website operated by Vanco. There, you will have to option to contribute to many of the ministries of Manito UMC in a variety of ways. The first option is Pledged giving to the general fund, which pays for the general needs and ongoing work of the church.  This is where your traditional annual pledge would go. You may also select several other funds to donate to such as Capital Improvements, Missions and Social Concerns, Youth Ministries and the Pastor’s Fund.  Other donation options may be added to this list throughout the year to allow members and friends to respond to short-notice giving opportunities

The first time you make an online donation, you will be prompted to create a profile. When you make future donations, you will be able to use the same username and password.

Please note that you are sharing your credit/debit card of bank information with Vanco Payment Services, not the church. Vanco is able to protect your payment information in a way that far exceeds the ability of the church to protect your Identification and sensitive bank account information. The church never receives your credit/debit or bank account information. We pay Vanco a small fee for each transaction for this convenience and security.

Here are some thoughts to ponder as you consider establishing an online donation account with the church. Enjoy the convenience of making quick, easy, one-time special donations. No need to write a check.  No need to use a postage stamp. Ensure Consistency for the church by providing a reliable and predictable source of income. Appreciate the security of transactions that cannot be lost or stolen. Schedule recurring donations on the date and frequency of your own choosing.

Manito UMC will include any of your online donations in your giving records receipt at the end of the year.
