Manito UMC has always possessed a strong call to serve others in our building, neighborhood, city, nation and around the world.        Our building is a great resource for Alcoholics Anonymous, with multiple weekly meetings for members seeking and maintaining sobriety. We also serve children and families through YMCA Children's Center South ECEAPManito Cooperative Preschool Parent, M&M Tots, Boy ScoutsGirl Scouts and the Juvenile Diversion program.

The church supports missionaries Nan McCurdy and Miguel Mairena, with many of our church members working and studying alongside Nan and Miguel through mission opportunities in Puebla, Mexico. Additionally, Manito UMC acts as an UMCOR Hub gathering      disaster-relief kits from around the region. Numerous congregation members have traveled to the UMCOR Depot in Salt Lake City to build kits for areas hit by natural disasters.

Manito UMC partners with local ministries, including the Second Harvest Food Bank, Shalom Ministries and Family Promise of Spokane
